The Peerage

Lt.-Gen. Eyre Power Trench was born in 1749.2 He was the son of Richard Trench and Frances Power.3 He married Charlotte Frances Johnstone, daughter of General unknown Johnstone, in 1797.3 He died on 14 April 1820.3

He gained the rank of Colonel in the 2nd Battalion, 27th Regiemnt of Foot.2

• His second (middle) name isn't Power, it a surname of his mother Frances Power, how he was mentioned when he was born and later in the sources. He used a surname Power Trench.
• In the above source from a 'The Peerage', wrong written a date of his death as 14 Apr 1820, this is a date of death of his wife Charlotte Frances.
