https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/65718679/james-anderson
Jim Anderson's parents were Willam and Martha Anderson. He was a 2nd Lieutenant in his brother, Captain William T. "Bill" Anderson's Company of Missouri Partisan Rangers. After the War Between the States, the Reconstruction Goverment would not allow Jim to stay in Missouri, so he went to Texas. After the war, Dave Pool (former partisan) was working for the U.S. Army to round up all the partisans and bring them in to surrender or die. Dave Pool's brother, William Pool found Jim Anderson in Texas and cut his throat on the capitol grounds at Austin.
