Biography

Lewis Parker was born circa 1796. His father was Josiah Lewis-Parker of Little PeDee Reserve of Old Cheraws. Lewis Parker was the main agent for the sponsorships in Choctaw Co with incoming Carolinian free people of color claiming land that New Spain was allowing inhabited as long as there was no proselytizing.

Lewis married Elaney Parker. Together they had the following children: Caleb Parker.

He died circa 1860.
