Newton Stow Baldwin, son of Newton Baldwin and Esther Stow, was born in Woodbridge, Conn. on Oct. 23, 1840; lives (in 1875) in Derby, Conn. He m. Nov. 27, 1866 with ELIZABETH PETTITT, dau. Henry, of Derby. He was three years in the 7th Connecticut Regiment, in the late war, and promoted to Second Lieutenant.

Children were: Alice (3/2/1869), and Henry (1/12/1871).
