Luisa Bianco-Tamagno was an Italian operatic soprano. She was a niece of the famous tenor Francesco Tamagno (1850-1905). By the advice of her sister she studied singing at the Liceo Musicale of Turin. She made her debut on March 1902 at the Teatro Regio in Turin in the parts of the Sephore and Maria in the oratorio ‘’Mosè’’ of Lorenzo Perosi. On October of the same year she sang at Teatro Verdi of Florence the role of Suzel in ‘’Amico Fritz’’ of P. Mascagni. In 1904 at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa she appeared in J. Massenet’s ‘’Grisélidis’’. In 1904 she sang at the Teatro Lirico in Milan the title role in ‘’Adriana Lecouvreur’’ of Cilea. In 1906 at La Scala in Milan she made her debut as Nannetta in ‘’Falstaff’’ of Verdi. Then she married the tenor Rinaldo Grassi (1885-1946), a well known tenor of his time. She died tragically in car accident which happened on the street of Rivarolo Canavese to Lombardore.
