Lydia Crosby

Lydia Chandler born 10 Dec 1735 in Andover Mass. Daughter of William and Susannah (Burge) Chandler. She married 22 Dec 1757 in Townsend Mass. to Jonah Crosby of New Ipswich N.H. They lived in New Ipswich N.H. until around 1768, then moved to the Kennebec River to Kingfield Plantation, which later became Winslow Maine. Lydia and Jonah Crosby had the following children Lydia Crosby       born           c1758 Westford Mass.

Jonah died 24 May 1814 of the Black Death (diphtheria) in Winslow, appox age 78 and is probably buried in the Hinds-Barton cemetery in Winslow. Lydia died 13 Dec 1814 also of diphtheria, age 79 years and 3 days old and is probably also buried in the Hinds-Barton cemetery.
