Lyle Gene AUker Sr.

NORCATUR - Lyle Gene Auker Sr., 71, Norcatur, died Monday, Oct. 30, 1995, at his home.

Mr. Auker was born Feb. 23, 1924, at Norton and was a resident of Norcatur since 1986, moving from Colorado. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver and worked for the Co-op in Yuma, Colo. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree and Yuma Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Doris of Norcatur; a son, Lyle Jr. of Oberlin; two daughters, Sandra Gade and Lisa Davies, both of Norcatur; a brother, Ivan of Craig, Alaska; a sister, Maxine Auker, address unknown; and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Norcatur United Methodist Church, the Rev. Roger Hasselquist officiating. Burial will be in Norcatur Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Pauls Funeral Home, 121 N. Penn, Oberlin 67749, and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
