Lynette A. Anderson, 53, of Sioux Falls, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Dougherty Hospice House. Lynette A. Bohr was born June 14, 1954 at Mitchell, SD. She grew up in Howard, SD where she received her education, graduating from Howard High School. Following high school, she worked for Raven Industries for a short time. On October 25, 1975, she was united in marriage with Warren Anderson in Howard, SD. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Sioux Falls where Lynette began working for Litton Microwave/Menumaster in 1977. From 1977 until 1979, she worked as a technician and assembler. In 1979, she assumed the position of lead supervisor for the assembly line workers. In 1988, she became the production manager, and a year later, became the Director of Human Resources for the company, a position which she held until the company closed in 1993. In 1993, she began work for Luverne Truck Equipment, serving as Operations Manager for several years and as their Director of Human Resources. She was working there at the time of her death. She received her Associates Degree in Business Management at Killian Community College where she graduated with honors in 1994. She later earned her BSBA degree in Business Administration from National American University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in May of 2000. Lynette was a lifelong, faithful member of the Catholic Church. She was also a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management, the Sioux Falls Chapter Society for Human Resource Management, was a Girl Scout leader, and was on the Board of Directors for First Century Federal Credit Union. Her greatest passions were being a mother, traveling and making quilts for charity and to anyone with a new baby. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Warren Anderson, of Sioux Falls, SD; one son, Jonathan (Carla) Anderson of Elkton, SD; one daughter, Megan Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; her mother, Ethel Bohr of Howard, SD; her brothers and sisters, Helen (Tom) Diehl of Atlanta, GA, Nick Bohr of Spokane, WA, Tim Bohr of Ephrata, WA, Bill Bohr of Artesian, SD, Karen (Rick) Peterson, of San Antonio, TX, and Chris Bohr of Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Bohr; and two brothers, David Bohr and Kevin Bohr. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church. A Scripture service will begin at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Miller West Funeral Chapel. The family will be present following the Scripture service until 8:00 pm.
