According to his funeral notice in 8 Órai Ujság, June 1942. (28. évfolyam, 122-145. szám):

He was a Hungarian Royal Government Grand Counselor, the Head of the Pest Chevra Kadisha Jewish Holy Union, a city judge and member of the municipal board of the VI th district Budapest, one of the founders of the Sas-Circle.

"m. kir. kormányfötanácsos, a Pesti Izr. Szentegylet elnöke, a székesfőváros IV- kerületének volt helyettes elöljáró városbirája és törv. hat: bizottsági tagja, a Sas-Kör alapító tagja STB."

Sas-kör /Sas Circle was the table company of the Arany Sas fogadó /Arany Sas Inn located in the corner of Kossuth Lajos Street and Semmelweis Street, the members were old heads of the downtown politicians in Budapest.
