Mabel enjoyed going to Nick Amster Workshop and most mornings asked if the bus was coming or if she had work. She had many friends there among her peers and supervisors.
She had lived in the Starcher Group Home for more than 20 years and developed close friendships there with her housemates. She had a passion for playing the board game, Sorry, and won most of the time. She also loved crossword puzzles, coloring, reading, fairs and festivals, live music, drinking pop and listening to the radio.
Mabel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she be free to sing, dance, laugh and love.
