GEDCOM Note

Deportation and military service Deported from Acadia in 1755 and interned in Sutton Mass during the French and Indian war. Unknown what happened to the family from the end of the war until 1778 when Etienne appears in Yamachiche Quebec.(Speculation is that Etienne's family went to St-Dominigue and parents and siblings perished) Etienne was recruited into the American Army from Quebec in 1776 and served on the American side throughout the American Revolution as a private.
