Drickamer, Mae Elizabeth (1921 - 2012)

Mae Elizabeth (McFillen) Drickamer, age 90, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 in New Haven, after suffering a stroke. She was born August 23, 1921 in Elyria, OH and graduated from the University of Michigan with an RN. She worked for Planned Parenthood of Central Illinois for almost 40 years. She is predeceased by her husband Harry G. Drickamer and survived by all 5 children; Lee (Myrtle Beach SC), Lynn (Ann Arbor, MI), Kurt (London England), Margaret (Woodbridge) and Priscilla Atkins (Holland MI) as well as 3 grandchildren Jonah, Nathan and Adena Coste all of Woodbridge.  Memorial contributions can be made either to Planned Parenthood of Illinois, 18 S. Michigan Ave., 6th Floor, Chicago, IL 60603 or the Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana Illinois, 309 West Green St., Urbana, IL 61801.
