<p>Mae B (Knott) Popik, 75, of Middleton, formerly of East Hartford, died Monday (May 27, 1996) at Middlesex Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of George Popik. She was born in Hartford, and lived in East Hartford for 40 years before making her home in Middleton. </p><p><p></p></p><p><p>She was employed at the Underwood Typewriter Co., Hartford, and also was employed as the manager at Archer Kent, Hartford, as well as being manager at ehr Hartford Hilton Hotel Gift Shop. SHe retired in 1993 from the Hartford Visiting Nurse Association. She was a member of the South Comgregational Church, East Hartford, and a member of the Kings Daughters at South Congregational Church. </p><p><p></p></p><p><p>She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, George L and Carol Popik of Manchester, Mark E & Lois Popik of Middleton with whom she made her home, and Gary R Popik of Easthampton, MA; a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Rob Judd of East Hartford; and a sister-in-law, Victoria Watson of Florida; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.</p><p><p></p></p><p><p>She was predeceased by five brothers and a son, John Popik.</p></p><p><p></p></p><p><p>Funeral service will be Friday (May 31), 11 a.m. at South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes St., East Hartford with the Rev. John Adams officiating.
