  • "Mrs Edward Stratemeyer, widow of the author of "The Rover Boys" series and many other books for boys, died yesterday at her home, 171 North 7th st., Newark, NJ, at the age of 67. She had been a partial invalid for seven years. Two daughters, Mrs Harriet Adams of Maplewood, NJ, and Miss Edna Camilla Stratemeyer of Newark, and a sister Mrs Littleton Welch of Westfield, NJ, survive. At her marriage in 1891, Mrs Stratemeyer was Miss Magdalene B Van Camp of Newark. Her husband died five years ago."
