Their brother Magnus Gislason(d 1372 or 1373) occurs at the earliest in 1335 and became a knight some of the years 1335–41. When King Magnus 'son Erik rebelled against his father in 1356, M remained loyal to the latter, and in 1362 King Magnus' son Håkan mentions him among his councils. A letter from 1364, however, testifies that King Magnus deprived him of his estate in Västergötland due to a violation of majesty, and he was subsequently a member of King Albrek's national council. M dated 1352 letters in his "curia" Örby in Vendel and 1362-70 in Aspnäs, which in 1368 his wife called their "manerium", and whose stone house he bought in 1357 from his half-brother. Except in Västergötland and Uppland and the neighboring Gästrikland, where he was the first known county governor in 1370, he held land in Västmanland, Närke, Värmland, Östergötland and Småland,

In his marriage to the National Council of Knut Folkessons (the family of the Algot Sons ; vol. 1, p. 395 f), Birgitta became M's grandfather to the Swedish National Council and the lawyer Arvid Gustafsson (S of Vik) and the grandfather of his daughter Margareta, who owned Örby in 1382, while her sister the National Council. Gotskalk Bengtsson (Ulv) inherited Aspnäs. Margareta Arvidsdotter became married to Ture Bengtsson (Bielke ; bd 4) mother of Sten Turesson, who in marriage to Karl Ulfssons (Sparre av Tolfta) daughter Margareta became grandfather of Sten Sture dä and grandmother's father to Gustav I.
