Mahulda Lindsay

Mahulda was born at Cove Creek, the daughter of John and Hester Cooper. She was the sister of Gen. Joseph A. Cooper, known for his Civil War service representing Campbell County, Tennessee. Many of her family are buried in Coopers View. She married into the Linsdays that lived and worked with the Coopers.

I have just come across the will of John Cooper, datd April 27, 1854, Campbell Co., TN, & proved in the August 1854 term of the Campbell Co. Court. It names his wife, "Hester Sage Cooper" & 11 children. Mahulda is not named. This causes me some concern. If she isn't the child of John & Hester, their 1st child is b. more than 4 years after their marriage. If she is their child, why is she not named?
