to Governor of Northern and Southern Nigeria 1912-13, 

to Gov.-Gen. of Nigeria 1914-15, served Great War 

1915-19 (O.B.E. , and War Medal), b. 1865; m. 1893, 

Charlotte Eleanor, d. of Rev. George Broadley Howard ; 

and has issue — Capt. Cyril Edward Lugard, b. 1894.
