Margaret Baillie was the daughter of Sir William Baillie, 4th of Lamington and Catherine Hamilton.

William 2nd of Raploch who married Margaret Bailie, daughter of the Laird of Lamington. His descendant, Gavin Hamilton, 9th of Raploch, granted to his son Claud the lands of Bornis and Culbowie.
