Biography
1. Margaret MacCarthy appears to have grown up at Rathroe, in the parish of Cullen, Millstreet, Co Cork (see ref 4) as her eldest son is reported as having been born there (with incorrect year of birth). 2.She is said to have passed away in 1854. 3. Margaret was the eldest daughter of Denis MacCarthy of Rathroe (Ref6).
