LAST RITES FOR MRS. MARGARET GASH WILL BE SAID TOMORROW Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A. Gash, 92, widow of William Gash who died June 20th, 1917, will be held at 2:30 P.M. tomorrow at the Beall Clements Chapel, with Rev. F. P. Black of the North Side Christian Church officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. She died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Youngblood, 8415 Washington Avenue. Mrs. Gash attended the Baptist Church until she came to Fresno in 1884 and joined the First Christian Church. She was born in Tennessee, October 13th 1831. Following her marriage in 1852, she came to California and made her home in Mariposa County where her husband engaged in mining ventures. Upon moving to Fresno the couple established them on a small ranch in Santa Clara Avenue, now within the city limits. Gash was at one time owner of the Grand Central Farm. Besides Mrs. Youngblood there are two other children, F. Marian Gash of Raymond and Mrs. Mattie A. Parsons of Phoenix, Arizona. Eleven grandchildren also survive. They are Mrs. C. A. Harlan of Selma, Mrs. B. G. Steele of Raisin City, True E. Caughell of Fresno, Arthur Gash of Coarse Gold, Mrs. Pearl Booth of Murphy's Mariposa County, William Parsons of Wilmington, Jessie Parsons of Hermosa Beach, Guy V. Parsons of San Diego and Mrs. Bessie Speck of Oceanside. Elsie E. Parsons of Phoenix, Arizona, and Moses Gash of Missouri.

Through the courtesy of C. M. Pace of Doyal township, one of the pioneer citizens of St. Clair county, The Republican is this week able to reproduce the following clipping from a Fresno, California, paper regarding the death of Mrs. Margaret A. Gash of that place but formerly a well known citizen of the south part of St. Clair county, who died about ten days ago: Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret A.
