Margaret W. Johnson

Miss Margaret M. Johnson, seventy-three, was found dead in her second-floor apartment at 22 Church St., where she lived alone, about 8:30 o'clock last evening.

Dr. A. V. Walter, the county coroner, said she died probably sometime Sunday of heart disease.

City Police were called to make an investigation when Mrs. Ruth Millhouse, another tenant in the house, told Mrs. George Snavely, 242 E. King St., that she hadn't seen Miss Johnson since last Friday.

Miss Johnson was the daughter of the late John W. Johnson, one-time district attorney of Lancaster county.

Her father died 25 years ago yesterday following a stroke.

He was 83 years old and at the time of his death was the oldest member of the
Lancaster Bar.
