Margaret was the daughter of a William Ruddock of Menallen.<ref>"U.S.,Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935," Warrington MM (York Co., Penn), database, Ancestry.com, accessed 13 June 2016 by Stevens-6770. There are several documents pertaining to their marriage intentions/accomplishment, though I have not personally seen the official marriage document. The most useful document thus far is their first marriage declaration (August 17, 1751) which reads in part: "Thomas Kendall of huntingtonand Margaret Rudduck Daughter of William Rudduck of Minallen appearedat this meeting and..." This shows that Thomas was living in Huntington (probably Adams County) and lists Margaret's father's name. They were given liberty to marry on September 21, 1751 and on October 19 their marriage was reported accomplished.</ref> Her death is recorded in the records of Guilford County's New Garden MM. <ref>"U.S., Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935," New Garden MM (Guilford Co., NC), database, Ancestry.com, accessed 13 June 2016 by Stevens-6770. Her death is recorded with the births of her children and the death of her husband, and reads "Margaret Kendal Mother of the above Children Deceased ye 22d ofye 9 mo 1775."</ref>
