Margaret "Margie" Ann Samek

SAMEK MARGARET ANN Age 81, of Monroeville, on Saturday, April 4, 2009, surrounded by her family, went home to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of the late John S. Samek Sr.; beloved mother of John (Mary Audrey) of Murrysville, Joseph of Lancaster, PA, James (Donna) of Butler, PA, Mary Ellen of Monroeville, Marcy (Mike) of York, PA, Mylene of Monroeville, Jerry (Lynette) of Monroeville and Jeffrey (Ehricka) of Level Green. Beloved grandmother of Johnny, Jeremy, Ryan, Meghan, Keith, Shawn, Jesse, Jasmine, River, Savannah, Christopher and Allie. Beloved great-grandmother of Toby, Noah, Alana and Liam. Also survived by a brother, John Ofsanik of Uniontown; sisters, Ann Nowak (Bill) of Monroeville and Mary Collins of California. Marge was admired and cherished by many for her great love for her family and friends and her constant love and trust in God. She was a special lady actively involved in many activities including Catholic Daughters of America, Consolata Missions, Saint Vincent DePaul and the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge. Marge was a member of North American Martrys Church and managed the school's cafeteria. Marge was still playing softball on her team well into her sixties. She was Monroeville's Citizen of the Year in 1981. Friends received at the GENE H. CORL INC.
