Margaret Nickles McKown Turner

1778 Captain Caleb Turner and Mrs. Margaret McKown married 12th January 1778. Margaret Nickles had married Robert McKown May 1st, 1745, at Boston. Robert McKown had died 1st April 1776 at the age of 57. Margaret, daughter of Alexander and Hannah Nickles was born circa 1725, likely born in or near Boston. The Nickles had immigrated from Londonderry, Northern Ireland about 1721. Lt. Alexander Nickels became commander of Fort Frederic at Pemaquid about 1756.
1790 Caleb’s household consisted of 2 males over 16, and 3 females. The children were likely from Margaret's marriage to Robert McKown.
1810 The census for 1810 gave 1 male over 45, 1 female over 45. It is assumed that these are Caleb and Margaret. Death dates have not yet been found for this couple.
