Nicholas Minor, Sr died BEFORE 29 May 1744 when his will was probated.

His first wife was Margaret Pope d/o Thomas Pope & Elizabeth Sanford. Her brother; Lawrence Pope (1673- d bef 10 May 1723) as the 2nd husband of Jemima Waddy!!

Margaret (Pope) and Nicholas Minor, Sr., had

• (1)Elizabeth bc 1700 d 1743 Richmond Co & m Edward Barrow, Jr;
• (2)John Minor;
• (3) Eleanor;
• (4)Alicia;
• (5)Richard;
• (6)Nicholas Minor, Jr - he also died young;
• (7)Katherine &
• (8)John Stewart Minor

of these children, Eleanor, Alicia, Richard and Katherine were not mentioned in their father's will, so all may have been deceased when the will was written in 1743.

Nicholas Minor Sr & 2nd wife Jemima Waddy Spence, Pope, Minor had:

• (1) William Stewart Minor who had a daughter Frances Minor;
• (2)Nicholas Minor, Jr d 1782 Loudoun Co., Va. & wife Frances Spence d/o Patrick Spence III & Miss Eskridge
• (3) Stewart Minor d 15 Jul 1753 Westmoreland & wife Jemima Moxley.
