About Margaret Stugmyer
Margaret Sora Stugmyer had a great sense of humor and was known as "ZeZe" in the family, from Zia the Italian word for aunt. Her sons inherited her great sense of humor and personality, and called their mother "Shorty".
After she was widowed in August 1950, she raised her two sons alone until a new love came into her life, Robert Anderson, who shared her delightful sense of humor. She married him and he became a loving stepfather to Joe and John and a beloved uncle to the rest of the big family. He had served in World War II and was a disabled veteran with a zest for life and love of fishing. Uncle Bob had a photography studio in the home, and developed pictures in a darkroom in the basement. His love of photography was passed on to a lot of the younger generation. She was widowed again in 1975 when Uncle Bob died on his fishing boat.
ZeZe was a very gifted seamstress and was known for the neckties she made for all the men in the family. She was a great Italian cook and also a doll collector. She loved her roses and also had a collection of decorative plates. She was a woman of many interests and was good at everything she pursued.
She was a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, beloved aunt, good neighbor and a great friend to all who met her.
