Margaret Elizabeth "Maggie" Tennant

Maggie ( Margaret Elizabeth Dillon) was his Denton's first wife and Susie (Thomas) was his second wife.

Denton and Susie lost four children on April 17, 1928 when fire destroyed their home on McElroy Creek, fifteen miles from Sistersville, WV. Two older boys escaped but were burned.

Interestingly enough, Maggie's age at the time of her death (from her death record) yields a date of birth as July 23, 1884, in Tyler County. A search of the birth records of Tyler County, records the date as the 22nd, and the line above her lists her twin sister, Nancy. Nancy's date of birth is recorded as July 19, 1884.
