Margaret Tinsley

Not a known child of Francis Taliaferro, of The Mount. Not known to be a child of Martha Taylor & James Taylor, ll, of 'Rapidan'

Margaret was born about 2 March 1713 in Caroline County, Virginia, however many of those county records have been lost. [citation needed]

Her maiden surname is still unproven. One suggestions was McCormick. [1] Many family trees say she is the daughter of Col. James Walker Taylor, II and Martha Montague Thompson. [2] However the TAYLOR Family Bible Record does NOT include the name Margaret among the children. [3] [4]
