Margaretha Luise Anna Marie von Ungern-Sternberg

What I know about Margaretha Louise Anna Marie Von Behr who was my great -grand -mother .She was born in Edwahlen now Edole in Kurland (Latvia) in 1859 .Her father was Baron Adolph Von Behr ,owner of Edole from 1823 to 1881. (b 1810 d.1881)

Adolph was called "crazy bear " as he had been to England and liked Tudor style.and decorated the  castle in that style. Her mother (I believe ) was Grafin Eveline von Keyserling (b. in Kabile (Kurland in 1820 ,d in Edwahlen in 1880. My great grand-mother married Baron Leonhard Paul Adolph Von Ungern-Sternberg in 1880 in Edwahlen. He had purchased the manor of Pormsahten (near Priekule ) now Purmsati,a school for handicapped children the year before in 1879. I went there in 2010 and met a young teacher Ieva who told me she is the great-grand-daughter of my great -grand-mother 's maid. The baroness was not liked by her servants. Her husband ,on the contrary was very much liked and had learnt Latvian to communicate with his workers

I have visited the beautiful castle of Edole ,now privately owned. this year. I learnt that the Von Behr (Alexander Von Behr was the owner till 1920 ) were allowed to stay till 1939.

I am wondering what happened to my great grand-mother betwen 1920,when she had to leave Pormsahten ,as the last owner , a widow since 1902 and 1944 when she died in Kuggen (Prussia Did she go back to Edole and lived there till 1939.and then left Latvia ?

My source for dates is a German genealogy book published in 1936 (Tartu ) we have in the family (my sister in France )
