Marian Dalrymple is the daughter of Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hamilton. She married Sir Ludovick Grant of Grant, 7th Bt., son of Sir James Grant of Grant, 6th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun, on 6 July 1727. She died on 17 January 1735, without male issue.

(06.07.1727) Sir Ludovic Grant, Bart of Grant (b 13.01.1707, d 18.03.1773). Note: Stirnet places as daughter of 1st wife, but this conflicts with birth record (below). Perhaps there was a first Marion.
