Marianne Liebmann is known to be William W. Cargill’s great granddaughter. Cargill Inc. is a Minnesota-based privately held multinational corporation which was founded William W. Cargill in 1865. In fact, more than 85% of the company’s shares is owned by the descendants of William W. Cargill. Today, Cargill Inc is considered as one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. In the fiscal year of 2012, the company was reported to earn a total revenue of $134 billion.
