About Marie-Élisabeth Pouponne Pouponne St. Julien d'Erneville
St Louis Cathedral Archives Vol III p. 32 Act No. 341 she was baptized Dec. 26 1754 by Rev. Dagobert. Sponsors were Charles Jean Baptiste d'Erneville (her brother) and Elizabeth Sabine Joseph Moneaut de Monbereaux.
She moved with her husband first to Natchitoches where he was the Commandant of the Post there. She bore twelve children in Natchitoches. All names and birthdates for the twelve children are found under Louis Charles de Blanc. She moved with her husband to the Attakapas Post and died at her home in New Iberia on Oct 5 1820 according ot Eglise St. Martin de Tours church records, Vol. 4 #1399 she was buried on Oct. 6. 1820
It is through Elizabeth Pouponne d'Erneville that all de Blanc descendants are eligible for the Founders of New Orleans Society.
