Biography ==Marie was born in 1774, the daughter of Alexandre Kirouac and %C3%89lisabeth Chalifour, and baptised at L'Islet on 3 December 1774.

She married Antoine Belanger at L'Islet on 8 February 1796, and they had six children before Catherine died in 1811.
