From La Seguiniere: On the 10th of October 1701, Marie-Jeanne signed a Contract of Marriage with Joseph Robidou in front of the Notaire Pierre Raimbault, in this document, the mother of the bride-to-be, Jeanne Petit, is referred to as Widow of the Late Francois Seguin of Boucherville. Also in this document, it says that "Charles Patenotre (husband of Francoise, sister of the bride-to-be) promises to feed the said Joseph Robisou and the said Jeanne Seguin, future husband and wife, for one year"...................From CD: Jeanne Seguin died on the 20th of December 1749 and was burried on the 21st of December 1749 at St Antoine dePade, Longeuil in Chambly Quebec - partner of Joseph Robidou).............From the Register of St-Antoine-de-Pade cathedral in Longeuil, on the 21st of December 1749, M.Jeanne Seguin was burried, aged around 70 years, she died yesterday suddenly ...in the presence of Tout st (meaning Toussaint ??) and of ?? toutst Minville her Gendre along with many other family and friends who were unable to sign - FROM: http://theseguintree.tribalpages.com
