Marie Kusserow

Services for Marie Fredericka Kussero, 98, Eldora, who died Saturday at the Eldora Nursing Home will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora. The Rev. Maynard Spitzacks will officiate with burial to follow in the Eldora Cemetery.

Miss Kussero was born Nov. 3, 1886 to August and Marie (Vilbrandt) Kussero. She worked as a telephone operator for the Eldora Telephone Company and then took care of her father in his declining years.

Miss Kussero was preceded in death by her niece, Hildegard Stielow. whom she raised and has lived with until the niece's death this past summer. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters.

Surviving Miss Kussero are 26 nieces and nephews. She was a life-long member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Eldora.
