Marilyn Bristol Hurst of Milford passed into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side.

Marilyn was a member of Wildermere Beach Congregational Church since age six, later serving as a council member for many years. She also served as PTO president and was fondly known as the “Cupcake Lady” at Mathewson elementary school and was also a member of Eastern Star.

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Lee Hurst also of Milford, son Jason Hurst of Toledo, OH, daughter Maralee Mies and her husband Eric Mies and grandchildren Jake and Ellee Mies all of Salisbury, MA. Marilyn leaves behind one brother and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Hasbrouck of Stratford, CT.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 am at Wildermere Beach Congregational Church, 133 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Friends and family may call on Tuesday, March 24th from 5 to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.
