DERBY PIONEER DIES
Rites for Mrs. Marion Dillon to Be Held Wednesday Morning
Mrs. Marion Dillon, Route 2, Derby, died at her home Monday following a lingering illness. She was born in Ireland on November 12, 1880, and came to Sedgwick county 35 years ago. She was a devout member of the Catholic church.
Mrs. Dillon is survived by her husband, James; four daughters, Mrs. Virgil Linot, 1445 Pattie, Mrs. Harold Arrington, 1329 Lulu, Alfreda and Louise, both at home; three sons, Alfred, James, and Joseph, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. A. J. Busch, 301 North Spruce, Agnes Kearney, 617 South Broadway, and Margaret Kearney, Ireland; a brother, Rev. Seraphin Kearney, Ireland, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament church Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. There will be a recitation of the rosary at the Flanagan-Bourman mortuary today at 8 p.m.
