Jenny Baxter was born on 3 April 1855 in Michigan, the child of Henry J. Baxter and Ellen Elvira George. Jenny married David Inglis circa 1878. The 1900 census for Detroit shows that they had been married for 22 years, so the date would have been about 1878. Jenny was living with her sister, Lois Henderson at the time of the 1930 census. They resided in a home that Lois owned in Mason City, Ingham County, Michigan. Jenny was then 74-years old and Lois was 64. Both were widowed.
