A Genealogical History of the Dormant: Abeyant, Forfeited, and Extinct ... By Sir Bernard Burke. Page 161. "DAVYS, VISCOUNT MOUNTCASHEL.". Third daughter of Michael Boyle, archbishop of Armaugh, married Sir William Davys, died 14 May 1680. Daughter Mary buried 20 Aug 1683.

All sources give Marha's mother as Michael Hill's second wife Mary O'Brien. His first wife Margaret Synge drowned in a shipwreck in 1641, along with their only child.
