MRS. JOHN FEATHERSTON - Mrs. Featherston died Monday night. She had be in ill health for some time, and her recent more serious illness gave little hope of recovery.
Her maiden name was Martha Stewart and was porn in Philadelphia December 2, 1832, and was married to John Featherston, March 28, 1870. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Grace Beatty and was known and hightly respected in this community for the past 45 years, having resided here continuously for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Margaret Wall, of Copper Harbor, and W. J. S. Featherston, of Cascade. Also her stepson John Featherston, of Kingsley, Iowa, who knew no other mother and who feels the loss Keenly.
The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist church, Revs. Halbert and Beatty officiating.
