Martha Hirsch

HIRSCH--Martha (nee Sommer), on March 29, 2011. Holocaust survivor, longtime organist of Congregation Habonim and avid lover of music. Devoted wife of the late Cantor Erwin Hirsch. Loving mother of David Hirsch and Judi Travis. Adored grandmother of Jared and Emilie Travis, Becky and Jason Hirsch. She was a sweet soul who was loved by all who knew her. Service Sunday, April 3, 9:30am at Congregation Habonim, 44 W. 66 St. Donations in her memory may be made to Simon Wiesenthal Center or the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
