Martha (b. Dec. 11, 1696), daughter of Jonathan, granddaughter of John, great-granddaughter of William, was said to be born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony.
Asserted she married Stephen Holmes (b. c1690, born in Stamford, Fairfield County, Connecticut Colony, and died in Greenwich) on Feb. 27, 1718 in Greenwich in a ceremony officiated by justice of the peace Ebenezer Mead.
Children asserted were:
- 1. Mary Holmes (c1720 - Feb. 24, 1761) died in Stamford, married John Webb (b. c1718) around 1738 in Greenwich.
- 2. Stephen Holmes (b. c1728)
- 3. Mercy Holmes (Apr. 7, 1731 - May 11, 1823) born in the Nine Partners Patent, Dutchess County, Province of New York, or in Horseneck, Greenwich, Connecticut Colony, and died in West Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont.
