Martin and Julie were never married. Ive been told he was !sent to America" he emigrated 17mai 1888 with his brother Hans,H'a wife and their three daughters.

They arrived in Duluth, MN and Martin stayed there for many years.

Around 1900 he married Sophie Olsson -(also Norw.) they got several children, many died early.

Oldest daughter Mary, sons Stanley and Philip seem to be the only three who lived to be adults.
