Martin B. Nye bought his grandfather's home on Hill Church Roadfrom Benjamin Nye on March 31, 1891. The place, at that time, containeda little over seven acres. Nine or ten of Martin and Agnes'thirteen children were born during the 16 years they lived there andon March 13, 1907 he sold the 60 year old place to Otto Wiestner.
