1. Mary Singleterry b. Hardwick, 23 May 1818 & d. unmarried at Hardwick, 23 Nov. 1834.

She md. 2. Barre, (int. Hardwick 22 Oct.) Nov, 1826, (as his 2nd wife) Seth, son of Nathan & Eunice (Mayo) Winslow. He was b. Harwich, 1 Jun. 1764 & d. Barre, 17 Aug. 1854. He md. 1. Harwich, Hannah Crosby, who d. Barre, 25 Dec. 1820. ____________________________________

• Sarah's maiden name has been given in unsupported sources as "Thomas" citing a 1757 marriage, Worcester, Ma. for Joseph Gray to Sarah Thomas. A quick check of Worcester VR does list a 1757 marriage for a Joseph Gray, but to a Mary, rather than a Sarah Thomas. Another initial candidate, Joseph Gray who pub. marriage intentions Worcester, 1771 to a Sarah Flagg (he of Fitchburg, she of Worcester) is easily discounted as Fitchburg VR shows they removed to that town and Sarah (Flagg) Gray d. there in 1799. The mother of Mary (Gray) Allen Winslow d. in Ware in 1808 (Gravestone).
