Mrs. Chappell, wife of H. D. Chappell and mother of Esq. O. Chappell, pioneer resident of the Western District of Clay County, died at an early hour last Friday morning, the 4th inst., at her home near Palatka. Her only brother, Thos. Gentry, of near Piggott, came over last Thursday. The funeral took place at the R. R. Black graveyard.
