Mary Ann Beeston 39, together with her husband John Foulis Goodwin 46, Wine merchant, and their 3 children, were members of Bailie's Party of 256 Settlers of the Chapman, but travelled independently under Capt. Hutchinson on the Medusa, arriving in Simon’s Bay 17th June, 1820
