About Mary Ann Wilson
Anna Seay is named as a daughter in the 1752 will of her father, James Seay of King William County, VA. She is shown in the tree as "Anna" because that is how it appears in the will. This line forward has been the subject of much research. "Anna" is a/k/a Mary Anne Seay.
As per Seay researcher, Vi McAllister, who has studied the James Seay line extensively and based upon publication of Virginia Vital Records through Baltimore Publishing Company, Pg 754:
He (Benjamin Wilson) settled on Willis River in Cumberland Co., about 1750 intermarried with Anne Seay daughter of James Seay a Huguenot family from the waters of York River and had issue seven sons and six daughters. Benjamin died 27 Oct 1814; Anne died 26 April 1814, married 60 years (1754). Anne was one year younger than Benjamin.
