About Mary Magdalena Breslin
Mrs. Mary M. Breslin, wife of the late Wm. Breslin Jr., of 1247 Lehman Street, died in the Hahnemann hospital, Philadelphia, Friday forenoon, aged 42 years. The cause of death is not known. Deceased left several months ago for Asbury Park to recuperate her health. When she left her condition was greatly improved and her recovery was expected. On her way home from the seashore recently she was obliged to enter the institution in which she died. Mrs. Breslin was a highly esteemed woman, a consistent member of the Centenary M.E. Church, in which she took a deep interest, and a devoted mother. She was the daughter of the late Henry Light, of this city, and is survived by her mother and two children, Miss Daisy Breslin and William Breslin, the latter attending the Williamson School near Philadelphia. These brothers and sisters survive: Lewis Light, residing in Florida; Samuel E. Light, Abraham Light, William Light, Leander Light and Miss Lillie Light, Lebanon.
25 Jan 1900: The funeral of Mrs. Mary Breslin, widow of the late Wm. Breslin, was held yesterday afternoon from the residence of her mother, Mrs. Henry Light, 1347 Lehman street. Services were conducted at the house by Rev. C. Lee Gaul, pastor of Centenary M.E. church, and interment followed at Mt. Lebanon cemetery. D.A. Frantz was the undertaker. [Lebanon Daily Times]
