Mary Judith Fourie [born 10th September 1864 in Oudtshoorn] and Frans Mattheus Christiaan Brewes [Brewis] are my great grandparents. Their children were

1] Sarah Margaret Brewis born 6th March 1885 [my grandmother, known as Dolly]. She married 1907 in Riversdale Otto Jacobus Fuchs, born 1884 in Riversdale.

2] John Casper Stephen Brewis born 16th October 1886. He had a son called Loftie Brewis who married Johanna E. de Villiers [born 3rd November 1891, Died 10th August 1973, Kroonstad].

3] Frans Mattheus Brewis born 18th August 1888

4]Petronella Catharina Brewis born 14th November 1890, died 1956 in Riversdale. Known as Kitty. She married Wilhelm August Heesen [born 28th March 1884, died 20th March 1941 in Riversdale]. Know of a son Wilhelm Lofty [sic] Heesen born 6th November 1919, died 16th February 1996].

5]William Lofty [sic] Eaton Brewis born 24th December 1892. He married Anna Francina Tobia Momberg, known as Nancy [born 16th June 1894] in the DRchurch, Cape Town.
